Karol A. Whealdon

Karol has been an attorney for more than thirty years, beginning her career in California.  Over her years of practice, Karol practiced in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury, landlord tenant, employment law, contract disputes, business, and general civil litigation, as well as estate planning and probate.  Since moving to Washington and being admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1999, Karol's practice expanded into family law and Indian law. 

Prior to joining Balsam Quinlan P.S., Karol was a solo practitioner at her law firm, Andrews Law Office P.L.L.C., in Fircrest, where she streamlined her practice to focus on estate planning and probate, family law, and collaborative law. 

Karol began working with our firm as a contract attorney in early 2022. In June of 2023, Karol joined Balsam Quinlan P.S. full time. Her work here includes guardianship and vulnerable adult matters, probate, and trust and estate litigation, and estate planning.

Karol grew up in a military family and has lived in, or traveled through, most of the United States, giving her a deep appreciation for the beauty of this country and the diversity of the population.
